Recently appointed to the Northwest Headquarters are the following Key personnel:-
Jessica Murison – Design and Business Development Manager
Jessica is a Chartered Interior Architect with 16 years experience in the industry, working predominately in the Commercial marketplace. Jessica has worked for large organisations such as Atkins Consultants and undertaken a significant cross section of schemes from Job centre Plus to Surestart and more recently 19-21 Spring Gardens in Manchester. Throughout her career, Jessica has lead projects from conception through to completion, acted as client liaison and as an independent Project Manager.
Jessica will be heading up the Design Department for Amspec, alongside spending time visiting the Marketplace to introduce and develop Amspec to new and existing clients.
Steve Nicholson – Senior Quantity Surveyor
Steve is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor having over 20 years experience in his field. Steve has a broad range of experience having worked for both independent QS practises and also Contracting companies. More recently, whilst at Garside laycock, Steve was the QS for schemes such as BT Dial House in Manchester, Reaseheath college & Tameside A&E.
Steve has a background in Education, Healthcare, Commercial and Industrial projects. Steve's appointment provides an additional wealth of knowledge and experience to the estimating team.
James Gillon – Estimator
Supporting the appointment of Steve Nicolson, James Gillon has Joined Amspec to give further reinforcement to the estimating department. James joins Amspec from DCP ltd were he was employed as a Junior estimator. James Is still progressing his career and is currently undertaking a HNC in Construction.
Matthew Bagshaw – Contracts Manager
Following the increase in our workload, Amspec required additional support to ensure the smooth running of live projects.
Matthew Joined Amspec in November 2010, coming from Garside and Laycock. Matthew has a vast experience in construction of Universities, schools and healthcare buildings acting as Site Manager for projects with a value of around £1.5m. Matthew has been a Site/ Contracts Manager for the Last 10 years, previously having been a joiner for the previous 13 yrs.
