The Craft Bar is a standout piece of bespoke joinery, originally designed in collaboration with Red Deer architects and Catering Projects. Built with functionality, character, and durability in mind, it features a real stone counter and cladding for a tactile, high-end finish. A footrail made from a repurposed on-site steel beam adds an authentic, industrial edge.

Working closely with Red Deer Architects, we developed the concept to retain the original design intent while ensuring the catering equipment fit perfectly and the bar layout delivered both ergonomic flow and everyday practicality. The structural framework was carefully engineered and validated, allowing for secure overhangs on the staff side without compromise.

At the rear, the wall is finished with a striking real copper splashback and antique mirror, complemented by reclaimed timber wall units for drink and glassware storage. Blackboard panels at each end provide flexible space for menus and messaging.

All services including drainage, power, data, draft lines and feed were precisely co-ordinated to allow a smooth on-site installation by multiple parties. The result is a functional, beautifully crafted centrepiece that performs as well as it looks.
